BingeVault ("the App") is a personal media tracking application. While the core features work offline, we use third-party advertising services to support development.
The App itself does not collect or store any personal information. All media tracking data (titles, progress, ratings, tags) is stored exclusively on your local device and is never transmitted to our servers.
BingeVault includes an optional library sharing feature that allows you to share media items with other BingeVault users via Android's Quick Share or similar file transfer services. This feature is disabled by default and must be manually enabled in Settings.
When sharing, a .bvault file is generated containing media titles, season information, tags, and poster images. Watch progress and ratings are never included in shared files. Shared files are transferred directly between devices and are not uploaded to any server. We recommend only sharing with and accepting files from people you trust.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data, such as:
This data is used by Google to serve relevant ads and prevent fraud. You can view Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the App will ask for your consent before personalised advertisements are shown, in accordance with applicable data protection laws including the GDPR. You may choose to receive non-personalised ads instead. Your consent preference is stored on your device and can be updated by reinstalling the App.

All data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the App removes all associated data. The App includes a Recycling Bin that permanently purges deleted items after 30 days.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
